The KINSC Summer Scholars (and Velay Fellowship) funds students who are able to secure on and off-campus laboratory research positions or public policy internships that have a significant natural science component. The KINSC is particularly interested in supporting summer experiences that build upon the student’s learning from previous coursework or mentored research, and that will enhance opportunities for learning and scholarly research in the future. Applications require a project proposal written by the student and a confirmation of support from your research or internship mentor (or someone who knows you well at HC). Summer Scholars applications are reviewed by the KINSC Steering Committee.
More information about these opportunities can be found on the Haverford website under the 'KINSC Summer Scholars and Velay Fellows' section:
Select the 'Apply' button to begin your application for a KINSC program. You have the ability to apply for more than one summer opportunity by beginning an additional application(s).
